Seems reasonable depending on what Comey has said behind closed doors.
But part of what Loretta Lynch is being attacked for is unreasonable.
Cabinet members and the Presidency are inherently political positions. It should be expected that Lynch and Obama supported Clinton on the campaign trail. There is no scandal there (think about when a President runs for his second term...he is engaging in political activity). In the past, cabinet members have addressed their respective political conventions (DNC/RNC). Perhaps special rules apply to the AG but I don't know of any.
Having said that, if the cabinet members used their office for political purposes (ie. using the resources of the Justice Department to investigate someone/not investigate someone) that would be problematic. There seems to be enough of an allegation that there was an attempt to do this.
